CinnaStick Apple Cider Syrup

Ingredients:

1 gallon apple cider

6-7 cinnamon sticks

Instructions:

Use a large pot to bring full gallon of apple cider and 6 cinnamon sticks to a boil. Periodically stir to get the evaporated cinnamon off the sides of the pot and back into the cider.

Boil it down for 30 to 45 minutes.

Will yield 4 to 6 cups of cider syrup once you've boiled it down. Taking a little bit longer will make the syrup thicker with less water content. Depending on what you want to use it for, you can adjust concentration as necessary by lengthening or shortening boiling time.

Remove full cinnamon sticks and discard and refrigerate between use.
