OUr RYE

It’s Always The Rye Time

Every bottle of J. Henry & Sons rye is made in small batches, slow-aged, in large barrels in a rustic barn on the Henry farmstead.

The uncontrolled temperature in this historic barn allows the wild Wisconsin weather swings to work magic between the bourbon and the barrels. The result is a pure Wisconsin craft four grain rye releasing aromas of sweet corn, caramel apple, candied pears, lemon tart and bright citrus fruit, to be sipped and savored. Reward yourself and enjoy our family’s new crafted rye and celebrate the fruits of your labor with ours.

four Grain rye

Wisconsin Straight Rye Whiskey

This four grain rye whiskey offers an expression that is both soft enough for those new to the category and also intense enough for the seasoned rye whiskey enthusiast. It has a very fruity nose with caramel apple, candied pears, lemon tart and bright citrus fruit. Creamy orange dreamsicle and creme brulee on the pallet balanced with baking spice and cinnamon sugar toasted nuts. The finish is a hearty granny smith fried apple crisp with caramel sauce, earl grey tea with cream, some pipe tobacco, cinnamon spiced pear and lemon tart.

This is a very balanced Rye whiskey, with the red corn and wheat adding more depth and complexity while still maintaining some of the spicy rye kick enthusiasts will enjoy.
